CHURCH Story

Faith Moves Church began as a vision to create a spiritual home where individuals could encounter God, grow in their faith, and become agents of positive change in their communities. Founded by Pastor Samson Ohda, the church was birthed from a passion to inspire lives through worship, teaching, and community engagement.

The journey of Faith Moves Church started humbly, with small gatherings of believers who shared a common desire to see their faith move mountains. These early meetings were marked by heartfelt worship, fervent prayer, and a commitment to understanding and living out biblical truths. Pastor Ohda’s dynamic leadership and dedication to serving God’s people soon attracted more individuals, and the church began to grow.

As the congregation expanded, so did the scope of the ministry. Faith Moves Church became known for its impactful worship experiences, thought-provoking sermons, and a strong emphasis on community outreach. From hosting youth-centered Thanksgiving concerts to organizing prayer events like “Something Must Happen,” the church has consistently demonstrated a heart for meeting both spiritual and practical needs.

In November 2024, Faith Moves Church took a significant step forward by establishing its presence at Ohda Studio, located at 13111 Westheimer, Houston, TX. This versatile space serves as a hub for worship services, events, and creative expressions, embodying the church’s mission to integrate faith with every aspect of life.
